After working on building a major fashion brand’s blog and social media for four years, Lauren Vandiver Green decided to combine her childhood love for playing “dress up” with her lifelong passion for writing and Vandi Fair, both a salute to fashion magazines that she’d dreamed of working for and to her own last name, was born. Her personal style is defined by clothing and accessories that are bright, cheerful and have that little spark that catches the eye. She is drawn to things that are colorful, chic and feminine, yet still practical and approachable. With fashion at the heart of Vandi Fair, her primary focus is to share positive imagery and messaging that uplifts, brings joy, and ultimately inspires to be bold, fearless and fun in fashion every day.

Going Out

Best spot to grab a drink with your girlfriends: I’m a Tex Mex and margarita girl so Mi Cocina or Taco Diner is a go-to (same owners!) and my fave drink which you can find at both is the “Mambo Taxi”.

Best wine bar/microbrewery: LUCK (stands for Local Urban Craft Kitchen) is a great spot to find local craft beers and Inwood Estates is a Dallas-based winery where you’ll find some of the best Texas wines, which you can taste at their winery downtown in the Design District.

Favorite place to boogie: Katy Trail Ice House is the spot to go for day drinking/partying and The Common Table or Quarter Bar for late night.

Must-sees: You must attend a sports event while in Dallas because they are all so big here. Whether a Mavericks basketball game or Stars hockey game at the American Airlines Center or a Dallas Cowboys game at the AT&T Stadium, sports are huge here in Dallas.

Best lookout spots: Soda Bar is a spot to grab a drink and enjoy some of the best views of Dallas; Reunion Tower – there’s a lookout spot where you can see the very best views of the city and there’s also a restaurant you can eat at that slowly spins while you eat.

Unknown, insider spots: You MUST have BBQ at Pecan Lodge and pizza at Cane Rosso; SO amazing!
